On Wednesday,  the 26th of March 2014, Prof. Natheer Abu.Obeid, President of the German Jordanian University, and Dr. Hamid Al.Madfa’a, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs at Qatar University, discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination in the areas of applied medical sciences and exchange programs for academic and administrative staff, as well as students.

 

During the meeting, Prof. Abu.Obeid highlighted the university’s focus and attention on the specialties of medical sciences engineering, in addition to the tech-applied level that GJU is achieving with regard to the industry needs of the region.    

 

He further gave an elaborate introduction about GJU; its Schools and, programs, pointing out the importance of the exchange year in Germany.

 

On his side, Dr. Al.Madfa’a emphasized that it’s very necessary to strengthen bilateral relations between the two universities, in order to exchange experiences and develop the educational and academic approaches nationally.

 

He also, praised the scientific level of GJU, inviting Prof.Abu Obeid to visit Qatar University to continue discussing possible cooperation between the two sides.

 

The meeting was attended by Prof. Manar Fayyad, the Vice President of GJU and Dr. Akeel-Taki Al-Kazwini from the School of Applied Medical Sciences.
