The Deanship of Student Affairs organized a series of meetings between the GJU President and students from all the Schools. The first meeting was held on Wednesday 19th of March, 2014, with students from the School of Management and Logistic Sciences (SMLS).
As part of GJU’s vision to empower its students and, facilitate their problems, these meetings were organized to tackle general academic issues confronting GJU students in order to smoothen the teaching process and bridge any underlying gaps among students and academics.
Prof. Natheer Abu.Obeid addressed GJU students from SMLS and from other Schools in order to offer them the chance to bring their problems to light.
During the meeting, Prof. Abu.Obeid stated that GJU represents a unique educational institution among other Jordanian universities and assured students that they all face big challenges within the community.
He further advised students to be one unity and to build one community inside of GJU, in that way they can solve problems and overcome any issues they face,” I believe in Diversity within Unity “Prof. Abu Obeid said.
The GJU President along with the Schools’ academics listened to all of the students' problems with consideration. They offered some advice and promised students ,their issues would be solved.
Furthermore, students made a lot of suggestions and shared thoughts regarding possible activities and considerations at GJU. The session was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Yousef Al-Abdallat, the Dean of School of Management and Logistics Sciences, Dr. Loay Salhieh,
a group of professors from the School of Management and Logistics Sciences ’ as well as GJU Students.
