The German Jordanian University participated in the second Arabic Digital Content Conference on Thursday 20 Feb, 2014 in order to talk about the “Arab-German Project”; “Arab term – a Technical Dictionary”.
Ms. Hanan Shuqair , a Teaching Assistant at the School of Languages , gave a presentation about this project, saying that the “Technical Dictionary” is a joint project of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization ( ALESCO) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development ( BMZ).
The Technical Dictionary “ARABTERM” is intended to be a generally accessible reference for the consistent translation of textbooks, curricula, technical manuals and other specialized texts.
It is worthy to mention that GJU participated in the Sponsors Fair, which included extensive information about GJU , its academic programs and activities. Guests were invited to take look at the brochures of the university.
