يشغل الأستاذ الدكتور مالك الشرايري حاليًا منصب رئيس جامعة اليرموك، ويشغل منصب نائب رئيس الجامعة الألمانية الأردنية منذ عام ٢٠٢٢. كما أنه عميد كلية العلوم الإدارية واللوجستية منذ عام ٢٠١٧. وهو أستاذ في قسم المحاسبة الدولية. يتمتع الأستاذ الشرايري بخبرة تدريس دولية في مرحلتي البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا في العديد من الجامعات الأردنية، البريطانية، والألمانية.
تتميز خدماته الإدارية في الجامعة بتنوعها الأكاديمي، حيث ترأس وشغل عضوية العديد من مجالس ولجان الحوكمة، وشغل سابقًا منصب رئيس قسم، ومنسق تبادل، ومدير مركز، ونائب عميد.
عُيّن الأستاذ الشرايري عضوًا في الهيئة الوطنية العليا لمهنة المحاسبة العامة، بقرار من مجلس الوزراء في أكتوبر ٢٠١٧، وهي الهيئة المسؤولة عن تنظيم مهنة المحاسبة العامة والإشراف عليها في الأردن. كما أنه عضو في هيئة ترخيص وامتحانات المحاسبين القانونيين.
يلتزم البروفيسور الشرايري بالتدريس القائم على البحث والممارسة. وهو عضو في معهد المحاسبين الإداريين (IMA) في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وزميل في أكاديمية التعليم العالي (المملكة المتحدة). حاز البروفيسور الشرايري على جميع الدرجات الأكاديمية بتقدير ممتاز، وحصل على العديد من الجوائز والأوسمة والتقدير من مؤسسات دولية. وهو مراجع ملتزم في العديد من المجلات العلمية، ومتخصص في العديد من برامج التدريب المهني، مثل شهادة المحاسب الإداري المعتمد (CMA).
