Prof. Natheer Abu. Obeid, the GJU President discussed prospective cooperation opportunities with Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) in a meeting with Prof.Dr.Dr.h.c. Garabed Antranikian, the President of (TUHH), on Monday, 2 June, 2014.
Prof. Abu.Obeid welcomed the guest and stressed on the importance of enhancing GJU’s cooperation in the industrial and academic fields with TUHH and to live up to students’ expectations through cultural and technological exchange.
He further added that GJU already cooperates closely with 85 German applied sciences universities, pointing out that GJU is keen to build various partnerships with German educational and industrial institutions.
For his part, Prof. Antranikian praised the GJU’s significant and scientific level, in addition to its great reputation in the higher education. Furthermore, he emphasized that coming up with new scientific and research partnerships will enrich the two universities experiences, progressing them forward.
Upon the end of the meeting, which was attended by the GJU Vice President Prof. Manar Fayyad, the GJU Vice President for International Affairs Prof. Anton Mangstl, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Dean of the School of Natural Resources Engineering, a discussion was held about another future cooperation between the two parties.
