The Cultural Counselor of the Cultural Attaché of the Bahrain Embassy in Jordan, Ghada Al. Mehza visited the German Jordanian University on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. 

 

The goal of the visit was to provide an update on GJU's academic programs, specialists, schools and to discuss partnership opportunities between the Bahrain Embassy and the GJU.

 

Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, the GJU President said that strengthening ties with our friends from the Bahrain Embassy is important for both the Bahraini students and the university.

 

He also affirmed that it is the university's desire, with the assistance of the Bahrain Embassy, to attract more students to GJU from Bahrain and eventually see Bahraini students graduate from GJU and return to Bahrain ready and able to contribute as leaders to their country.

 

For her part, Ms. Al Mehza commended GJU for its supreme academic and scientific level and the great reputation in the region as well.   

 

In addition to being a point of contact for Bahraini students, the Cultural Attaché in Jordan is working to engage with GJU and enhance Jordanian-Bahraini cultural relations, share experiences and introduce culture, according to Ms. Al Mehza.

 

It is worth mentioning that both Prof. Abu Obeid and Ms. Al Mehza praised the leaderships of the two countries, and the historical friendship between the two peoples.
