بسمة الطاهر، مُدرسة لغة إنجليزية في الجامعة الألمانية الأردنية، شغفها هو التدريس والبحث والقراءة. حاصلة على درجة الدكتوراه في الأدب الإنجليزي من الجامعة الأردنية. ومتخصصة في الأدب الأمريكي الحديث والرواية الحديثة. اهتماماتها الرئيسية في مجال البحث هي السينما والأدب، وما بعد الاستعمار، والأدب الأفريقي الأمريكي.
