According to the Chinese government vision of establishing an Arabian Chinese University in Jordan and in the Arab region and according to the excellent reputation of GJU a Chinese delegation led by Dr. Sun Xiaobing General Director of Department of Policy and Regulation visited the university to viewing the GJU policy of education, programs and management system.
Dr. Xiaobing expressed the delegation’s utmost delight to visit GJU and meet with the President and some professors to know more about the university, its establishment and experience, addressing several topics and questions to discuss.
Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, the GJU President welcomed the delegation, and said that GJU is very happy to host many Chinese guests recently.
The President spoke about the university’s history, and its establishment that based on the friendship between Jordan and Germany. It became a successful model of higher education having a different programs, unique majors, superb partnerships with many educational and Industrial institutions in Germany.
The GJU community is always working hand in hand to craft solutions to the challenges and to quickly move beyond some obstacles that might occur, and helping students through collaboration with the International Office and the Office for Industrial Links also the GJU Office in Magdeburg, appreciating their great efforts.
Prof.Abu Obeid also pointed out that GJU is focusing on the cultural face beside the education and scientific research.
The delegation members were highly impressed by the advanced scientific level of the university and by the experienced professors and staff, expressing their desire to build up collaborative bonds and to benefit from the university’s great experience.
It is worthy to mention a group of GJU staff , who participated the disscucion with the delegation , starting with Dr.Salem Al.Aqtash, the President Counselor for Strategic Affairs, and Computing, Dr. Yaser Rajjal, Assistant to the President for Communications and Public Relations, Dr. Laila Yaghi Assistant to the President for Admission and Registration and Sana’ Farraj, Director of the Finance Department
