While the German Jordanian University (GJU) aims to promote private sector partnerships at various levels and maintain sustainable industry linkages, Palma Consulting aims at partnering with universities to offer students real-life experiences and opportunities.
GJU provides university students with first-hand experience by involving its industry partners in study plans and field-trips. GJU also offers students a full-time work experience by its requirements of conducting local and international industry trainings and internships.
As a regional leader in Business Process Management and Business Transformation, Palma Consulting has been delivering successful projects across the Middle East and North Africa region. A strategic direction at Palma Consulting is to establish linkages with leading universities across this region.
To realize these goals, the German Jordanian University and Palma Consulting signed a memorandum of understanding that addresses cooperation in the fields of training, field trips, research and innovation, as well as internships and employment opportunities.
Accordingly, Palma Consulting will provide training for GJU students at its offices and projects in Jordan and the region. Palma Consulting will also support GJU students to find internship placements at Palma’s offices in Amman and Dubai and those of its partners in Germany and German speaking countries. Additionally, GJU academic staff and students will be given the opportunity of conducting research projects at Palma Consulting facilities, Palma Consulting will provide lectures and presentations to be included in GJU’s study plans, and GJU academic staff will offer lectures to Palma Consulting employees in fields of special interest.
