Amman – 25 February
On 25th of February 2015, the German Jordanian University signed MoU with Allgäu-Orient-Rallye to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides and participate in the Rally within the GJU 10th anniversary celebrations.
The MoU was signed by the Vice President of the University Prof. Manar Fayyad on behalf of GJU, and Eng.Sakher el Fayez on behalf of the Rally. The MoU states that GJU will be a station to begin the Rally from Jordan.
Under this memo, GJU students who are currently in Germany will participate in the various Rally activities especially in the Jordanian night, to present Jordan and its ancient history.
Both sides will approach suggestions for events and activities to be implemented under the supervision of a technical and administrative staff. The GJU will also allow the participants in the Rally to use the available university’s technical equipment.
The memo signing was attended by Dr. Yasser Rajjal, Assisatnt to the President for Communications and Public Relations, Dr. Yousef Abdallat, Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Fawwaz Alsaqqar, Assistant to the Dean of Students Affairs, Ms. kram Al Naji, Director of Presidency and Councils' Affairs Department, Mr. Muneer Bani-Younis, Director of Marketing and Public Relations Department and Ms.Britta Kähler, Director of the Office for Industrial Links .
It is worth mentioning that Allgäu-Orient-Rallye is a non-profit Association and organized in coordination with the Crown Prince's Office to encourage the youth generation to engage in the social and volunteer work.
