The new Cultural Attaché of the German Embassy, Mr. Ralf Schröer visited GJU and met with the Vice President for International Affairs Prof. Anton Mangstl and a number of officials from the international program at the university, the School of Applied Humanities and Languages and German Language Center.

 

The aim of the meeting was to introduce the German Jordanian University’s educational system and the process in which the students finish their cumulative credit hours to travel to Germany and to graduate.

 

During the meeting many issues were highlighted like the German year, visa application process, to German language level required to attend a university in Germany, the learning process and study environment at GJU and the students’ internships at one of the industries in Germany.

 

Dr. Doorthea Yecht the Director of the International Office mentioned the key role played by the German Embassy in facilitating the process of travelling to Germany and expressed gratitude to the whole team for their continuous effort making it possible for students to get their visas on the right time.

 

Gratitude to the management team at Magdeburg Office was also expressed for the collaboration with GJU during the period spent by GJU students in Germany.

 

GJU team of the international side wished for much more successful future cooperation between the university and the German Embassy and was looking forward to the new collaboration with Mr. Ralf Schröer.
