A delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development visited the German Jordanian University in order to review the progress of projects that implemented by the university and funded by His Royal Highness, the king of Saudi Arabia / Saudi Fund for Development.

The delegation met with the Vice President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad, where the two sides discussed the implementation mechanisms of two projects of the new teaching laboratories, the extension of the Faculty of Applied Humanities and Languages and laboratories’ complex. According to a press statement from the university.

 

Prof. Fayyad welcomed the delegation, and pointed out that the university is following a systematic plan that aims at implementing the above mentioned projects and do the finishing work on time. She also thanked those in charge of the Fund for supporting the Yarmouk projects.

The support aimed at developing the infrastructure of the projects, and to establish a number of projects that support the educational process at the university.

 

The delegation praised the efforts of GJU on the advanced stages of the implementation of these projects, and said that the GJU is considered one of the outstanding scientific edifices in spite of its short age, and that we will continue to supporting it to be able to enrich its scientific bid.  

 

The delegation had a tour to the new teaching laboratory projects, the extension of the School of Applied Humanities and Languages, the Laboratories’ complex, the clinic and the nursery, accompanied by a number of officials from the Ministry of Planning and Sustainable Development. Ms. Rasha Al Attal from the Supplies and Tenders Department at the University briefed about the implementation mechanism of the projects and the percentage of the complete work.
