The German Jordanian University and the Euro-Jordanian Advanced Business Institute (EJABI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Tuesday, 13 October 2015.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, on behalf of the GJU, and Dr. Nael Al.Husami CEO of Amman Chamber of Industry on behalf of EJABI.
The MOU seeks to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in the area of training courses that are funded by European Union, holding scientific activities inside and outside Jordan, exchange experiences, conducting researches and projects in all mutual subjects.
Prof. Abu Obeid emphasized that the MoU aims at enhancing this partnership, pointing out to the willingness of GJU to provide all necessary support to the future programs and projects.
For his part, Dr. Al Husami said that the MoU focuses on providing management development services and a diverse range of practical learning and development programs to support a wide range of management processes, both at the individual and organizational levels.
He further added that GJU is great model of cooperation between the two governments the German and Jordanian.
It is worthy to mention that EJABI has a wide network with leading universities and professional institutes to develop and enhance the human capital of the Jordanian private sector with an emphasis on the development of managerial skills and practical knowledge. In 2012 EJABI began representing the German Senior Expert Service (SES) in Jordan, offering German expertise to Jordanian SMEs, NGOs and governmental institutions.
The signing was held in the attendance of Prof. Manar Fayyad, GJU Vic President, Dean of School management and logistic sciences, Dr. Loay Salhieh, as well as Ms. Rahma K. Tommalieh from EJABI.
