Amman- 18 November2015
Faculty members from GJU's Department of Mechatronics Engineering have participated in two events at the Hochschule Bochum in the period 18-20 November 2015. The first event was the meeting of GJU's Network of German Mechatronics Engineering Partners.
Dr. Nathir Rawashdeh, Assistant Professor and Exchange Coordinator of mechatronics engineering has presented an update on the numbers of exchange students and the new rules for outgoing students, in addition to the new mechatronics study plan in effect since September 2014.
The second event was the 16th International Conference on Research and Education in Mechatronics (REM2015), where many papers were presented about mechatronics education and research including a GJU paper describing the design, implementation and testing of a micro-fluid pump lead by Dr. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, Associate Professor of mechatronics engineering at GJU.
This annual conference is a great networking opportunity as it is regularly attended by many of GJU's partner universities and other potential German partners.
