On Tuesday December 1st 2015, H.R.H. Prince Al Hassan Bin Talal made a surprise visit to the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) at GJU, accompanied by the former Governor of Alexandria - Egypt Dr. Hani Al-Maseeri and received by the Dean of SABE Dr. Mohammad Yaghan.
H.R.H Prince Al Hassan visited the Third Year Architectural Design Studio and was greeted by the Professors Bisher Zureikat and Raed Altal and the Teaching Assistant, Arch. Lina Haddadin.
After a brief description given by professors Bisher Zureikat and Raed Altal, the students and professors enjoyed an informal discussion with H.R.H. about the current project they were designing: An Awareness Center for Earthquakes and Climate Change in Jerash.
The students were extremely delighted to exchange views and ideas with H.R.H. Prince Al Hassan about their education and its relevance to professional practice. They also enjoyed the special opportunity of greeting H.R.H. and taking photographs.
