Amman-17 March,2016

German English for Business Communication (GEBC) students visited on Thursday 17th March, 2016 the Royal Film Commission (RFC) in Jabal Amman.  The goal of their visit was to introduce them to the services the commission offers in terms of capacity building and creating a film production environment for people in the field.

The students were given an overview about the success stories and initiatives the commission has accomplished so far through enhancing local film talents and promoting the cinematography field in the local community.

Furthermore, the students got the chance to inquire about internship and work opportunities at the RFC. Opportunities in the editing and montage departments seemed to suit the competence level of GEBC students.

Jordan as a film location was one of the topics that interested the students since it gave them a positive outlook on how they can be part of promoting Jordan economically and as a tourist destination with their communication and business backgrounds.
