Amman- April, 2106
GEBC (German and English for Business and Communication) students from the School of Applied Humanities and Languages (SAHL) visited Orange Jordan and received an orientation on how the company works to offer people mobile, Internet, and telephone network services.
Orange is a Jordanian public mobile telephone network operator, and is the operator of the mobile communications license granted to Jordan Telecom. Upon their arrival at Orange headquarters in Jabal Amman, the students were welcomed and invited to a detailed presentation by two employees from Orange’s HR department. The employees explained how the company plays a vital role in ensuring that every individual is offered a simple, high quality, and fast network operating service. The students were then briefed about the company’s objectives, operational and functional strategies, accomplishments so far, and its future projects.
At the end of the presentation, the students were given a chance to ask questions regarding network services and the professional opportunities the company could provide them with as students and graduates in the field of communication. The opportunities Orange discussed with the students covered internship and future job opportunities where their competences will be fully utilized and thus would definitely foster a high class communication service in the future.
