The German Jordanian University GJU and Jordan Engineers Association JEA signed an agreement in order to establish a "Scientific Research and Innovation Fund " on Monday, 15th of August, 2016. The Fund aims to implement and conduct innovative and pioneering research projects in which recent graduates Engineers of “Madaba” can work and gain experience . 

Prof. Natheer Abu Obied, President of GJU, emphasized that GJU is seeking to establish a sustainable partnership with the industrial sectors and civic institutions to strengthen applied scientific research and conduct pioneer projects.

He further added that the Scientific Research and Innovation Fund will qualify the engineers to work within the projects productivity programs that would positively reflect on the local community and contribute to solve the  unemployment issues.

JEA President Majed Tabbaa said that this agreement is very important  for the fresh graduates engineers where they can get training , improve their scientific and practical level and involve them  in the areas of leadership and innovation as part of JEA’s mission to serve and develop the local community.

On his side Eng. Ahmed Falahat, Chairman of JEA Council’s branch /Madaba pointed out to the important role of GJU through involving a number of these engineers in an innovative projects  that could become a productive companies in future.

For his part  Dr. Salem Al- Agtash , Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research expressed the university's pride to cooperate with JEA which is considered to be one of the most important national organizations in the kingdom and a very rich environment full of professional experiences.
