A visit to the Jordan Museum was conducted on August 17, 2016 for the students of the National Education course at GJU, with Mr.Adel Hawatmeh, National Education Course Instructor, and Professor Nizar Abu Jaber, the Director of the Center for Natural and Cultural Heritage (CSNACH ) at GJU.     

Drs. Ahmad al Momani and Yosha al Amri welcomed the students to the museum, and walked them through the exhibits, which span from the Prehistoric to the Late Byzantine Periods. The museum showcases the important social and technical innovations and developments of Jordan through time, including important developments in agriculture, mining and metallurgy, water harvesting and management, ceramic production and writing, among others.

The director of CSNACH at GJU explained the importance of preserving Jordan’s rich patrimony and the dangers that it faces.
