Autodesk has published on its website the story of their cooperation with GJU in improving the Computer-Aided drawing course as success story. They highlighted the great progress in this course through incorporating the AutoCAD Certified Professional exam (ACP) in its curriculum. Autodesk praised the GJU students’ level that passed this course and their potential to pass the ACP exam. In the academic year 2015/2016, over 50 GJU students passed the ACP exam. The ACP certification gives students an edge in the local and global workforce market.

This achievement was a result of fruitful cooperation between the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) represented by Dr. Zyiad Masoud, Eng. Ahmad Hammad, Eng. Natheer Almtireen, and SATS engineers, with OmniPlan (Autodesk partner in Jordan).

AutoCAD is considered one of the most used and efficient software package for engineering design/drawing. Autodesk wishes to expand GJU’s pioneering experience to other universities around the globe.
