On Wednesday 22nd of November 2017, a delegation from the University of Reykjavik of Iceland visited the German Jordanian University (GJU), to explore collaboration opportunities with a number of universities in the region and GJU.

During the visit, the delegation met with the President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayad and a number of faculty members from various schools, where they learned about the most important projects and plans of the university in the fields of Information Technology, Sustainability Projects, Energy and Robotics; in order to plan for future projects and cooperation between the two parties.

The delegate includes the President of Reykjavik University, Dr. Ari Kristinn Jónsson, the Dean of the School of Computer Science, Dr. Gísli Hjálmtýsson, the International Office Director, Mrs. Guðlaug Jakobsdóttir and the faculty member in computer science Dr. Mohammad Hamdaqa.

The schools that took part in this visit are: Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, School of Natural Resources, School of Applied Technical Science and the School of Electrical Engineering and Information technology
