On Tuesday 7th of August 2018, Member of the German Bundestag and Vice-Chairman of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group, Dr. Stephan Harbarthm, has visited the German Jordanian University (GJU), in the presence of the President Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President Dr. Atef Kharabsheh, Schools’ Deans and Director of Office for Industrial Links (OIL), to learn more about GJU.
Prof. Manar Fayyad presented an introduction of GJU since establishment in 2005. She highlighted the most distinguished features that make the university different from other universities.
Deans of GJU’s schools proudly presented the distinctiveness of each school and its impact on the graduates educationally and culturally. They stated the great outcomes of the relationships with Germany, especially in the fields of academic and intercultural exchange.
From her side, Director of OIL, Britta Kaehler stated the services offered by the office for GJU’s students and Alumni, in addition to regional and international companies.
She mentioned that OIL established the Program Innovation & Entrepreneurship (PIE), to create an innovation and startup culture besides developing Technology Transfer.
