Dear Students,
Please read carefully all notes below in order to prepare well for the new registration system.
- Registration of newly enrolled students will be announced later. Registration notes below are intended for students admitted in the first semester 2021/2022 or before.
- Registration is available ONLY online. There is no need to visit the Registration Department nor your department.
- Substitute courses are opened only for expected to graduate students. Such courses can now be requested through MyGJU as in the the tutorial https://www.gju.edu.jo/sites/default/files/mygju_substitute_courses.pdf
- If a section is blocked, you can request a seat in (If available) through MyGJU. You will get a priority if you requested this course during the pre-registration. Please have a look at the related tutorial https://www.gju.edu.jo/sites/default/files/mygju_seat_reservation.pdf
- If you plan to register in the afternoon online courses, please avoid registering labs in the session of 14:00-16:00
- You need to visit the campus to register if and only if you are registering courses from outside your study plan or you are registering a course with its pre-requisite after you failed the pre-requisite.
- Pay attention to the university bus schedule before choosing to join online courses while being on campus
- It is your responsibility to plan your schedule so you are able to join the physical/online/blended lectures on time and to follow the university bus schedule
- If you could not register all of the planned sections, you will still have good chances during the add/drop and special registration periods that will be announced later.

General notes:
- You need to be fully vaccinated against COVID to register on the upcoming semester
- If you are not registering courses on the upcoming semester, you must urgently contact your School to postpone the semester, to avoid losing your seat
- It is the students’ responsibility to seek advice by advisors at their respective Schools and adhere to all relevant regulations and instructions (see p. 274 Arabic booklet or p.396 English booklet) http://www.gju.edu.jo/content/rules-and-regulations-13095
Additional important notes to students in Germany:
- Students who cannot complete the mandatory internship during the second semester of their German Year (internship semester) due to a late start of the internship, might be allowed to extend their stay in Germany by the IO only on discretionary basis, subject to capacities and if further enrolled in a German partner university for the purpose of finishing the mandatory internship (20 weeks up to 6 months).
- Third semester extensions are allowed only if the student provides a contract for the international internship at the latest during the second semester of their German Year, latest at the respective 31/01 or 30/08 of that specific year.
- Students are not allowed to extend for a 4th semester in Germany.

Registration process will be only ONLINE through MyGJU and will start at 08:30 in all registration days starting from Sunday the 13th of February 2022 till Tuesday the 15th of February, 2022 and in the following distribution:
Note: Once the registration process opens for a specific year, it remains open till the end of the registration days.
- Fifth year students (who passed 135 credit hours or more) will register courses on Sunday 13th of February Up from 08:30
- Fourth year students (who passed 105 to 134 credit hours) will register courses on Sunday 13th of February Up from 11:30
- Third year students (who passed 70 to 104 credit hours) will register courses on Monday 14th of February Up from 08:30
- Second year students (who passed 35 to 69 credit hours) will register courses on Monday 14th of February Up from 11:30
- First year students (who passed 34 or less credit hours) will register courses on Tuesday 15th of February Up from 08:30
