Arch. Rejan Ashour
Arch. Rejan Ashour has a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Jordan. She is specialized in Arabic Calligraphy on the facades of Mamluk Architecture.
She published many papers on muqarnas, design education, and Arabic typography teaching.
She taught at different universities in Jordan teaching basic courses in design, CAD, and typography. She also conducted many workshops teaching Arabic calligraphy to non-native speakers.
Currently, she is an Industrial Professor at the School of Architecture and Built Environment in German Jordanian University, and a co-founder of the design office “Muqarnas for Design.”
