On Tuesday 25th of July 2017, The School of Management and Logistic Sciences (SMLS) hosted Director, Regional Partners Relations Mr. Ahmad Mkhallati from Institute of Management Accountants, to introduce the Certified Management Accountant (CMA), to the students.
On 19th of July 2017 the German Jordanian University (GJU) hosted Dr. Ahmad AlHalaybeh to give a lecture on “Terrorism and extremism”. The visit was organized by the Deanship of Students Affairs, with the cooperation of Madaba Directorate of Culture which organized several lectures within its annual plan to educate people about the subject.

On Tuesday 20 June 2017, on World Refugee Day, the Edu-Syria program, managed by the German Jordanian University and funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund, the 'Madad' Fund, organized an Iftar banquet for 250 students affiliated with the program, of which 50 students live in the Al Zaatari camp.
The School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) has conducted a 15-hour Microcontroller Programming workshop for kids of its faculty and staff between the 12 and 20th of June 2016. The young participants enjoyed learning about how to connect electronic components to a microcontroller and program it to implement various sensor and actuator applications.
