Dr. Iyas Khader is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Dr. Khader has extensive experience in finite element modeling, especially wear simulations, contact analysis, coupled thermal-mechanical analysis, and simulations of metal forming processes. His research field in the past years was focused on damage and wear analysis of engineering ceramics. Dr. Khader has published and co-authored many publications in several world renowned journals and has cooperation with several scientists especially in Germany
