The International Office (IO) and the School of Applied Humanities and Languages (SAHL), at the German Jordanian University (GJU), has organized the Third Arabic and Culture Summer Course for the German incoming students.

The summer school which includes Arabic language classes with a total amount of 42 contact hours were conducted by Ms. Zain Abu Taleb at the Darat Othman Bdeir /Jabal Amman from 29th July until 17th August 2018.  

Prof. Atef Al-Kharabsheh, the GJU’s Vice-President welcomed the new incoming students at the university and emphasized that they will get a great experience during their stay in Jordan, not only in regard to the educational aspect but also cultural one as GJU is  a platform for crossing cultures particularly to the German culture.

He also added that the summer school is the best cultural interaction where the students can have a rich environment and a nice diversity. 

Moreover, the Vice President, Prof. Kharabesheh, urged the students to seize this opportunity to learn more about Jordan, where they can gain a great experience through interacting with the Jordanian culture and learning new language.

Additionally, the incoming students have been briefed on the Arabic Language and Culture Program in addition to the role of the School of Applied Humanities and Languages.

Note worth mentioning that the course has included lots of excursions and activities for the incoming students to the most amazing tourist and educational sites in Jordan.
