On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), at the German Jordanian University (GJU), hosted the Department of Institutions’ Performance Development in the Prime Ministry to conduct an Introduction lecture about Crown Prince Foundation Award for Best Government Service Application.
The Award aims at motivating and encouraging the Universities’ students to create innovative solutions via smartphones and mobile devices applications to improve government services in a simplified and easy way at all times.
Also, the award aims to strengthen the relationship between university students and the government entities by involving the students in designing services and creating solutions that improve the quality of life.
The award includes six government sectors in its first year, Health, Education, Transport, Water, Business Environment and Tourism. Its main evaluation criteria: Efficiency and Effectiveness, Ease of use, and Innovation.
The rules of participation, the prize, timeline, submission were explained. In addition, contact information for each sector were provided.
