In the link below you can find the new regulations for the distribution of the “German Year Scholarship” starting from the outgoing batch in September 2017. The German Year Scholarship is granted by the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal through funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

New regulations for the distribution of the “German Year Scholarship” . 

Students cannot apply directly. According to numbers of available scholarships, each semester an independent committee at GJU conducts the selection of scholarship holders according to the following criteria:

-Minimum GPA of 76% (weighted 70%)

-Marks in German VI (weighted 30%)

-Students who obtained an official B2 Goethe-Zertifikat before leaving to Germany will have an extra 2% added to the total score of GPA and German mark.

 

Chosen scholarship holders will be contacted by GJU International Office through email after their departure to Germany.
