The school of Applied Humanities and Languages (SAHL)/Department of Social Work at German Jordanian University (GJU) has finished its second summer training course in Social Work, for The University of Applied Science Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt students that commenced between the period Sep. 17th till Oct. 5th 2017.

The Department of Social Work supported the program by linking the summer course with national and international institutions related to the field as well as The SAHL presented different workshops by Prof. Dorit Shumann vice president and by Dr. Sahar Almakhamreh head of Social Work Department. 

The training course aimed to share and transfer experiences, thoughts and various concepts about social work in Jordan, besides exchanging experiences​ in different fields including refugees and migrations.

The group consisted of 19 MA students, who are studying Social Work, and 8 students has been enrolled into the Professional Diploma in Social Work, (Migration and Refugees) in Oct. 4th 2017. ​
