A delegation from the UAE Cultural Attaché, headed by the Technical Attaché, Mrs. Iman Al-Hosani, visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) to learn about the university and discuss cooperation between the two sides.

During the visit, the delegation met with the Vice President, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, where he gave a briefing on the university's establishment, development, achievements, and aspiration to be a pioneering and innovative applied university that focuses on leadership, innovation, scientific research, and community service, in addition to the German Year and the Dual Studies Program.

During the meeting, ways of cooperation and exchange of ideas were discussed by establishing joint programs and exchanging visits between students and teachers to learn about best practices and discuss ideas related to supporting scientific research, publishing in scientific journals, patents obtained by the university, and training programs offered by the university to its students inside and outside Jordan.

For her part, Al-Hosani praised the distinguished scientific level of the university and the excellence of its graduates, expressing her aspiration for close cooperation between the university and the UAE educational institutions.

At the end of the meeting, which was attended by the Financial Officer at the Attaché Office in Amman, Mr. Jamal Suleiman, and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Bashar Al-Husseini, the delegation toured some of the university's facilities, which included the library, the laboratories of the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS), and the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DIE-TECH).
