A delegation from Chamber of Engineers of the Federal State Baden-Württemberg visited GJU, and met with the GJU’s President Prof. Natheer Abu.Obeid , the Vice Presidents , some of academic staff and GJU graduates .
The purpose of the visit is to intensify the cooperation between GJU and the Chamber of Engineers of the Federal State Baden-Württemberg in order to recruit GJU graduates for available jobs in the field of engineering.
The delegation gave a presentation about their institution and the internship/job opportunities for engineers in Baden-Wuerttemberg. They also mentioned that many big German companies are located in Baden-Wuerttemberg (south of Germany), that are also in constant search for qualified engineers.
Prof. Obeid welcomed the delegation and praised their initiative to offer a big number of opportunities for GJU graduates and enable them to engage to the labor market.
The President also pointed out to the importance of strengthening the cooperation between two sides.
It is worth mentioning that the delegation’s schedule includes meeting with Amman Chamber of Industry and meeting at the Deutsch-Jordanisches Wirtschafts-Kooperationsbüro.
