On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, a delegation from Kazakhstan Consisted of Daniyar Baibekov the consul of Kazakhstan Embassy, and Dr. Ergali Bayldinov the coordinator of BBA/ BMA Program at Shakarim University visited the German Jordanian University (GJU).
The President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad in the presence of Vice President Prof. Atef Kharabsheh and the Dean of the School of Management and Logistic Sciences (SMLS) Dr. Malek Sharairi welcomed the delegation.
The delegation’s visit aims at exploring ways of collaboration between both sides in the areas of academic exchange, mobility, and joint Master Programs.
Fayyad explained the unique education at GJU that follows the German Fachhochschule model of education.
She cleared the enormous outcomes of this system on students, graduates, and industry besides the intercultural aspect between Jordan, German, and Europe.
Dr. Ergali introduced the programs and specialties at Shakarim University, specifying their interest in establishing a joint Master Program in Islamic Banking Accounting.
The discussion expanded to include various collaboration ways that included summer courses for students and joint projects. Both sides agreed to cooperate to create a Memorandum of Understanding with mutual interests.
