On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, a delegation of administrative staff from the University of Magdeburg for Applied Sciences in Germany, UAS Magdeburg-Stendal, visited the German Jordanian University (GJU), to learn about the University, its programs, the nature of work in the departments and the GJU role in promoting bilateral relations between Jordan and Germany.

The visit comes within the framework of a bilateral exchange program, which is coordinated by the University of Magdeburg annually. The delegation met with the President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice Presidents Prof. Atef Kharabsheh, and Prof. Ralf Roßkopf.

Prof. Manar praised the role played by the University of Magdeburg and the project office in facilitating and supporting GJU’s students during the German Year. She appreciated the strategic partnership with the University of Magdeburg and the support of German educational and industrial institutions.

The members of the German delegation took the opportunity to learn about GJU's Labs, the new building of the Library, projects, and activities.

The delegation visited the School of Architecture and the Built Environment (SABE) in Jabal and explored Jordan's most fascinating areas such as Downtown, Dead Sea, Petra, Mount Nebo, and Jordan Valley.
