On Thursday, 26th of February, the GJU President Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid met with Worms University’s President Prof. Jens Hermsdorf and his colleagues Prof. Henning Kehr, Vice-President Research, and Mr. Joachim Mayer, Director of International Center.

 

Both sides discussed ways of cooperation in the areas of logistics and management sciences and computer science, in addition to exchange students and staff.

 

Prof. Abu Obeid asserted that GJU is keen to cooperate with German universities at all levels in order to promote a global and intercultural experience through its schools and programs.

 

He also pointed out to the important roles of the public and private sectors in GJU, which created an enthusiasm environment for students inside the university and helped them to engage to the labor market.    

 

Prof. Hermsdorf praised the GJU scientific level and the great reputation globally, indicating the importance of strengthen a common denominators between the two universities and establishing a new joint programs to link the both institutions to the economic sector. 

 

It is worth mentioning that the delegation had a tour through the campus, the Deanship of Scientific Research, in addition to a special tour through the Darat Othman Bdeir, down town of Amman.
