The President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Alaeddin Al-Halhouli, met with a delegation of Oman university services offices, who visited the university to learn about its programs and explore opportunities for Omani youth to study there. 

During the meeting, Prof. Al-Halhouli praised the depth of relations between the two countries and the possibility of enhancing scientific cooperation and attracting Omani students to the university due to its unique experience in studying and training in Jordan and Germany. 

Prof. Alhalhouli also indicated that the university represents a cultural vessel and a bridge linking Jordan with Europe in general and Germany in particular, which would provide them with various life and academic experiences and skills that would enable them to find suitable job opportunities immediately after graduation or to establish startup companies. 

The meeting was also attended by the Library Director and the Vice Dean of the School of Applied Humanities and Languages, Prof. Haitham Al-Thawabia, the Director of Admission and Registration Dr. Ahmed Barghash, and the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Thelal Oweis, where they all discussed possible aspects of cooperation between the two sides. During the meeting, the delegation watched a documentary film about the German Jordanian University and visited a number of GJU’s facilities.
