Amman- April 26, 2017
On Wednesday , 26 of April, 2017 the Drama Club of the German Jordanian University in coordination with the Deanship of Students Affairs organized a big event consisted of a tragedy show entitled Prisoner in my Prison Cell , DJ and Beatbox music.
The show represented the inner conflict within ourselves through addressing different concepts and aspects of life such as love, religion, ambition, money, ethics and conscience.
This tragedy show reflected the persons’ experience while battling with himself and speaking out to his conscience. During the show, actors and actresses tried to express about the frequent daily inner contradictions that we all experience whether or not we are conscious of them.
Rarely do we choose to see the existence of conflict as positive and see that it presents an opportunity for us to move forward if only we are willing to face it and deal with it effectively. Our emotional and behavioral problems can be resolved; we just have to understand ourselves very well.
The show was directed by Enad bin Tareef, Assistance Director : Ameera Shaaban and Ezzeldin Rabiee. Scenario written by : Murhaf Al Khateeb , Malek Zubi , Aya Kharfan, Muhannad Shaaban, Ghayath Tadmoori and Ahmad Maleeki .
