The Ebtikar Innovation for Creativity Development Association honored the German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by its President Prof. Manar Fayyad, in recognition of the University and its administration in supporting the programs of the Association and training its members.

The event was attended by HRH Princess Sumaya Bint Al Hassan to honor the winners of the “LUMA StarT International Award- Jordan Level and the Challenges of the Future Scientists 2019”. Around (26) winners were honored in Jordan from (126) teams who participated in this competition in its final stages.

The President of the association, Suria Ayyad explained the nature of the competition and its conditions, areas and objectives in providing students with the methodology of scientists in research, discovery and invention, and motivating science teachers to assist in creating innovative projects, in addition to the involvement of the community and academic institutions in supporting children and young people to build a supportive society of scientific knowledge.

Ayyad thanked Her HRH for her generous patronage and support for science, creativity and innovation. She also thanked the GJU for supporting and sponsoring the activities of the competition, including the scientific camps which are held under the auspices of the University in order to enable students and teachers to have scientific and technical skills that enhance the performance of the winners.

The German Jordanian University has contributed in supporting the Association in various events such as the Future Scientists and the Summer Camps in the scientific, technical and innovative aspects.
