The faculty member of Business School (BS), Dr. Khaldoun Tahboub from the German Jordanian University (GJU), conducted a training course in the application of supply chains through tracking technology at the Institution for Standards and Metrology at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Economy in Ramallah in cooperation with Incube company. The training course targeted staff in the field of food in the public and private sectors, as well as medical products.
Dr. Tahboub conducted an introductory explanation about the application of the traceability system in the supply chains related to the food industry, introducing the concept of traceability and its importance, the methods used in applying traceability systems, global standards GS1, and the information systems used to implement the traceability process.
At the end of the session, which was attended by the Minister of National Economy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institution, Khaled Esaily, Director General of the Standards and Metrology Institute, Haidar Hajjah, General Manager of Incube Center for Creativity - Jordan, Kholoud Al-Shanti, General Manager of Incube Office in Palestine, Ashraf Badr, Osseily, Hajjah, and representatives of Incube handed over the accredited certificates to the participants.
