Amman- 22 November 2018

On Tuesday, November 13, 2018, the International Office (IO) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) arranged a visit to the founder of Fintiba, Mr. Bastian Krieghoff, as part of IO’s preparation meetings for the outgoing students- summer semester 2019.

Mr. Bastian Krieghoff attended the second presentation “Visa & Fintiba” which mainly focuses on opening a blocked account and subscribing to a health Insurance account via Fintiba, as well as the preparation for visa submission for the German embassy.

Mr. Krieghoff discussed with the students how he started as a small entrepreneur and how he had this idea to launch a website that prepares the student, and inform them with the most important documents in order to get a study visa via a modern online platform.

He also expressed his admiration of the GJU’s establishment story especially in the areas of the applied sciences approach of education and the intercultural exchange between German and Jordan on more than one level.

Fintiba and GJU have signed a cooperation agreement recently to make Fintiba hat included Fintiba as one of the major partners of GJU. The agreement states on sending GJU’s interns each semester to Fintiba to do their Internship there, which helps the outgoings in case they faced any issues through the process while they are opening their blocked accounts. That has definitely helped the IO as well as the Office for Industrial Links (OIL) at GJU. Therefore, we can say now that we have in Fintiba an “ease of access”.
