For the second year in a row, the German Jordanian University (GJU) faculty members Prof. Raed Mesleh and Prof. Osamah Badarneh, from the Electrical Engineering Department at the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT) were figured in the list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide based on their research publications.

Additionally, the list of this year included Dr. Zakariya Dalala from the Energy Engineering Department at the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM) and Dr. Dia Zeidan from the School of Basic Sciences and Humanities (SBSH).

 

The list includes the top 2% of scientists of the world from different fields based on standardized citation indications. These include information on the number of citations, H -Index, co-authorship, composite indicator, and other factors that can be obtained from research databases Scopus.

The list was created by Stanford University and published by Elsevier, "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators."
