The QS World University Rankings has announced the results of Arab Universities 2020, where the German Jordanian University (GJU) ranked 47 among them.

The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, stressed that these results indicate the success of the applied model at the university that contributes to exceptional educational outputs, which can be seen in the high employment percentage among GJU graduates and the significant increase in the number of scientific research cited.

Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department (QAAD), Dr. Murad Samhouri, stated that since 2015, GJU achieves progress every year in this classification.

He said GJU had made remarkable increase during the previous two years where it leaped from the category (71-80) in 2018 to the category (61-70) in 2019, while this year it ranked 47, in the QS ranking which considered one of the most respected and reliable sources in the world.

He added that GJU excelled nationally in the field of published papers by faculty members, the reputation of graduates among recruitment companies, the ratio of foreign students enrolled in the university, and the ratio of faculty members to students.

The QS ranking for the Arab region 2020 based on ten categories including, the academic reputation of the university, the reputation among recruitment companies, the ratio of faculty members to the student, citation of the scientific research, the international Academic members, and students enrolled in the university.
