The German Jordanian University (GJU), ranked the second among Jordanian public universities according to the announcement of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions.

GJU obtained an "Excellent" classification based on several indicators including the ratio of faculty members per student, student’s satisfaction, scientific research, incoming students, the quality of graduates, the percentage of administrators to faculty members, parallel study and the results of the efficiency exam.

According to the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, the classification is linked to the third strategic objective of the National Strategy for Human Resources Development (2025-2016), in addition to the economic growth encouragement Plan (2022-2018).

The results also showed that GJU achieved the first place in the quality of the graduates, the students’ results in the efficiency exam and students’ satisfaction.

It also achieved the second place in the ratio of faculty members per student, scientific research, incoming students, also the percentage of administrators to faculty members.

The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, stressed that these results indicate the success of the applied model at the university, which takes into consideration the bilateral culture between the Jordanian and the German society.

Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department (QAAD) at GJU Dr. Anas Mahmoud Attia said that the university continues to spread and adopt the culture of quality and excellence among the faculties, centers, and departments by focusing on continuous evaluation and review.

The German Jordanian University has recently achieved excellent results in the QS ranking for the first time since its establishment in 2005, the University came within the category of (800-751) among the best universities in the world. Furthermore, it came in the category (150-101) among the best universities that are less than 50 years old.
