Dr. Ala’ Khalifeh from the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) has recently received the Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) for the year 2021. The Fellowship is run by the Royal Academy of Engineering and funded by the UK Government’s Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Newton Fund program.

The Royal Academy of Engineering (‘The Academy’) brings together the most successful and talented engineers from across the engineering sectors to advance and promote excellence in engineering and innovation both in the UK and globally.

The Fellowship brings together leading technology entrepreneurs from Newton Fund partner countries for a series of training activities on innovation to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to commercialize their innovations.

Dr. Khalifeh will take advantage of this fellowship to improve his innovation and entrepreneurship skills, leverage the current ongoing projects to the industrial and production level, share the attained experience with GJU fellows, and cultivate it among his students at GJU.

The German Jordanian University congratulates Dr. Khalifeh for receiving the fellowship and wishes him all the best.
