The International Affairs Department at the German Jordanian University organized an intensive Arabic language course for students from Germany and Turkey, for two weeks, which focused on learning the Arabic language and exploring Jordan's culture, history, customs, and traditions.

The course aimed to promote cross-cultural understanding and friendship through language learning and cultural excursions. It covered modern Arabic language and colloquial dialects through interactive sessions, role-playing, and real-life scenarios.

The program included field trips to historical sites such as Mount Nebo, Jarash, Downtown Amman, the Citadel, Petra, and Wadi Rum. During these visits, the students experienced the Bedouin way of life and how it has evolved over the centuries. They were also introduced to traditional Jordanian dishes and how to prepare them.
