On Sunday, August 31, 2020, the German Jordanian University (GJU), in partnership with the Social Security Corporation, began the training program "Certified Liaison Officer", at the Consultation and Training Center (CTC), in the presence of the President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad, General Director of the Corporation Dr. Hazim Rahahleh, and trainees.
The training comes within an agreement between the University and the Social Security to spread awareness and knowledge of social security and its community role, introduce law and its applications for companies and businesses, qualify the program’s participants in managing the beneficiaries' accounts.
Fayyad praised the partnership with the Social Security Corporation, to provide qualified cadres with all legislation and laws on social security, and to provide services to individuals in their institutions and workplace.
For his part, Rahahleh appreciated the exceptional cooperation between the two sides in the field of training programs and consultations, indicating the university’s role in providing logistical services and providing facilities for developing joint professional, scientific and advisory relations.
The training covers 40 theoretical and practical training hours and includes subjects to provide trainees with knowledge and skills to complete the Corporation’s work and transactions in legal, technical, administrative, and procedural terms. Also, it identifies the applications of the provisions of the security law, fines, delay interests, and benefits. It also introduces the trainees to the Corporation’s official website and its services.
