On Monday and Tuesday 7-8 / May 2018, under the umbrella of “Jabal Amman Cultural Week 5”, The School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized its annual celebration of Architecture and Design days (DAG ALMANI).

In the presence of Vice Presidents Dr. Atef Al-Kharabsheh, Dorit Schumann and deans of schools, President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad praised the role of SABE in preserving the urban and architectural heritage of Amman city and documenting the memories of people. She also commended the efforts of the students and professors in considering Jordan’s heritage in their work and projects.

Dean of SABE Dr. Ziad Haddad said that the days of architecture and design give the chance to highlight students’ talents, innovations and projects, in addition to introduce them to the companies and institutions for their career hunt in the future.

The days of architecture and design at SABE included the First Career Fair where 26 national and German companies operating in Jordan participated in the fair, art and photo exhibitions, fashion show and various documentary films.

It is worthy to mention, that Jabal Amman Cultural Week 5 celebrates Jabal Amman’s heritage vibrant present and future as the heart of the capital and the meeting point of diverse cultural activities. It is organized by Abdul Hameed Shoman (AHSF) in cooperation with public and private institutions.
