On Sunday 19 August 2018, under the patronage of HE. Engineer Othman Bdair, the German Jordanian University (GJU), celebrated the graduation of the Ninth Batch of GJU’s students with the presence of the president of GJU, Prof Manar Fayyad, Vice Presidents Dr. Atef Kharabsheh, Dr. Dorit Schumann, Board of Trustees Members, Academic and administrative staff.

Prof Fayyad said that she is delighted to share these moments with the graduates and their families, after a long journey of hard work to achieve all success requirements, stating that the graduation memory is a special memory, where a new journey of life and a starting point for its wide horizons and broad hopes.

Addressing the graduates, she said, "You have had a life in which we strove with you all the way to be rich in science, knowledge, and experience to create a bright future for you to reach the ambition of His Majesty King Abdullah II to build our country and support its development.”

In her speech, Fayyad appreciated both academic and administrative staff for their dedication and passion that assisted the university in taking a prestigious position among international universities.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Raed Khasawneh congratulated the students and their families on their graduation, expressing his best wishes to the students in their new journey. He asked the graduates to keep the hard work and take responsibilities toward themselves, their families and the country.

Mahmoud Janini, Mira Maraqa, and Lana Malkawi delivered speeches on behalf of the graduates, where they expressed their happiness and excitement, pointing to the role of the university in preparing them, refining their skills and knowledge to be partners in building the country.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were handed over to graduates.
