The German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated International Women’s Day, which was organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Club through the Deanship of Student Affairs. GJU hosted inspiring women and activists, Prof. Rana Al-Dajani, Prof. Abeer Al-Bawab, Dr. Batoul Al-Muhaisin, social activist Farah Matalqa, Dr. Eva Haddad, and Dr. Jumana Maatouk.

The President of GJU, Prof. Alaa El-Din Al-Halhouli, met with the guests in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thelal Oweis, Vice Dean Dr. Hani Mohsen, the club president, student Sarah Nasser, and club member Joud Al-Awamleh.

Dr. Al-Halhouli praised the achievement of Jordanian women in all fields at the level of the whole country. He pointed out the effective role of women at GJU as they occupy many vital positions adding that the university aspires to develop projects to advance the role of the women's sector in the university.

The ceremony included speeches and presentations of the participants' experiences, achievements, and the most important values and lessons they have learned during their journey toward success.
