On Sunday 24th of September the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, celebrated GJU’s achievements in the field of scientific research.
The President of GJU Dr. Manar Fayyad, thanked all academic staff for their tremendous efforts and achievements in the field of scientific research and projects that contributed in raising the university’s reputation.
Fayyad stressed on the importance of researches in creating solutions for the communities, encouraging all schools to collaborate together in conducting researches to enrich the outcomes, adding that statistics indicate that GJU on the right path despite of young age of the university.
The Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Salem Al-Agtash congratulated the academic staff for their distinguished contribution in research, presenting GJU’s production in research fields since establishment.
In his presentation Al-Agtash highlighted the statistics on researches and projects at GJU specifying every school’s contribution. He concluded with remarks on ways to strengthening research and collaboration for the future.
It is worth to mention that earlier this year, GJU ranked the top in research funding from Jordan’s Scientific Research Fund among Jordanian universities, with a total of 182.530 thousand Jordanian Dinars. This amount represents 26% of the total financial support to research institutions.
